Why Organizing
Why Organizing Matters
Real change happens when people come together to challenge systems that fail them.
For survivors of domestic violence, organizing creates collective power that can influence policies, hold institutions accountable, and improve responses to abuse.
Through organizing, survivors are able to:
Share lived experiences with decision-makers
Identify gaps in services and policies
Advocate for system reform
Build leadership and community power
Voices of Women believes that survivors must lead the movement to transform the systems meant to protect them.
